Operating principle of Gurapita


	●When Shutoff Valve is Open (Standby State) When the valve is open, the adsorption board has been adsorbed to the permanent magnet in the shutoff valve. The shutoff valve keeps its opened condition by an inside permanent magnet and secure the detector by magnet inside sensor. ●When Earthquakes Occurs When earthquake sensor senses over a level 5 earthquake, the sensor separates from the magnet and push down the pointed end of the release. (The release is put a cable through a flexible pipe and fitted with hard axis of the metal at both ends of the pipe. When one end of the metal is pressed, the other end is pushed down and comes out the cable under stress of physical force.) With pressing the end of the release of sensor side, the end of the release of shutoff valve side comes out, and press the lever inside of the shutoff valve. Expanding the force from the release and pull the adsorption board away from the permanent magnet, the lever close the valve by force of the actuating spring.

Note: When earthquake sensor senses over the setting level (3 types; see the specifications), sensor activates a shutoff valve automatically by force of pushing down the operating shaft through the release.
